Pottery painting is almost like therapy. Pick a piece of dishware, pick some pretty colors and just let your creative mind go to work.
We met on Thursday, January 14th for pottery painting at Glazed Expressions. We brought yummy munchies like hummus, cheese and chips and salsa. Plus the red wine was a friendly friend to have there with us. Perhaps that helped the creative juices flow.
Of course I forgot to take pictures while we were painting, but I did managed to take some photos of our finished products. This project was a definite keeper and I'm sure we'll visit it again in the future. Gillian did have her eye on that giant cobra statue and I think Kristienne secretly wanted to paint the creep alien head, but opted for the spoon rest.
